Background:
Founded in 1984 from the amalgamation of junior and infant schools, Little Reddings is set in 'spacious, well-planned grounds' which offer two ponds, a wildflower meadow and a small woodland area. The 'very well resourced' school operates in three buildings and facilities include two halls and dining rooms, a library, two music rooms, facilities for cookery, a kiln room and light, airy classrooms. It enjoys 'strong parental support' and is commited to high standards of academic achievement, with French taught from Year 2. A range of extra-curricular activities includes netball, football, environmental sytudies, recorder, drama, chess and cross stitch, in addition to tuition in flute, clarinet, piano, guitar and recorder. A special needs co-ordinator SENCO), part-time support teacher and SEN room are available.
