The Cavendish School is an LEA community school, with a fully comprehensive mixed intake, ranging from 11 to 18 years. The school aims to provide broad and balanced curriculum. There is a large programme of additional learning opportunities, encompassing sport, drama, music and art, which is offered at lunchtime and after the end of the formal teaching day. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey and rugby. The school aims to create a sense of community and belonging, to develop a feeling of pride, and the ability both to work in a team and to lead.
