Background:
Fowlmere Primary School founded in 1861. It forms a significant part of the rural village community and has developed close links with the local secondary school and village groups. The young engineers club won the title of Best Young Discoverers Club 2000 for England. The school provides extra-curricular sports and activities. In addition to the National Curriculum, French is taught throughout the school. There are a number of ramp access points to the school for physically disabled pupils'. Pupils' with Special Educational Needs (SEN) are supported by learning support assistant.
