Background:
Pixies Hill JMI School is a very friendly school where the attitudes of both staff and pupils create a happy, secure, stimulating and caring environment in which children can enjoy the learning process.There are at present 210 children on roll, with nine Teachers and a committed support team of eight Teaching Assistants. The school's management structure consists of the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher. The children are taught in mixed ability classes throughout ' there are currently seven mainstream classes.The School has an energetic and dedicated Governing Body, which works closely with the staff, pupils and parents. There is also a thriving Pixies Hill School Association, which encourages parental involvement and support in the life of the school, organising fund raising events and social occasions during the school year.
