Part of parish of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady and St Joseph, Waltham Cross, since the 1890s, when it developed from the parish Sunday School; moved to present site in 1970s and 'has continued to develop a reputation for high quality Catholic primary education'. Over-subscribed, with average of 40 applications for 35 places. Housed in traditional building with seven 'spacious' classrooms and assembly hall/gym; an adjoining dining room; also a small junior library, a small infant library, and a kitchen. Grounds include large playing field and tarmacadam play areas. Separate nursery accommodation is 'spacious, well-equipped, bright and cheerful'; new classrooms built to reduce infant class sizes.
