Background:
The school built in 1962, is a Junior Mixed, Infant and Nursery all-ability, co-educational Hertfordshire County School for children aged three to 11 Years. It has an admission number of 45 children in the main school and 30 in the part-time Nursery class. All classes are of mixed abilities and children are taught as a whole class in groups or individually as appropriate. Each member of the teaching staff is responsible for developing one or more specific areas of the curriculum. The school is in an attractive residential area. It has 11 classroom areas together with a hall, computer suite, library, audio-visual and music rooms. There are extensive grounds for games and environmental studies. The school kitchen provides freshly made meals.
