Has occupied current site since 1975, when its original Victorian building was rebuilt; set in rural location on outskirts of Hemel Hempstead, with fields to three sides and a view of the town. Regards itself as 'very forward-thinking' in its teaching; uses buddy system to 'promote high levels of learning'. Accelerated learning incorporating Thinking Skills 'empowers the children to become independent learners and ensures the needs of every child are met'. Raises funds for charities such as Marie Curie Foundation and UNICEF appeals. Club activities after school include football, tennis, dance and cricket; ICT suite with 16 computers, plus two computers per classroom. Strong links with local community; link school with BP.
