Background:
The school has an extensive range of extra-curricular and other activities that add to the enjoyment of school and to the cultural and development of its students. The Performing Arts is one of the strengths of the school - with many opportunities for music, dance and drama. Music plays a very important part in the life of the school and students can develop their musical talents to a high level. There are also numerous field trips, leisure activities and general educational visits which contribute so much to the development of its students. In addition, there are many house competitions, clubs and activities at lunchtime and after-school. The school has strong links with the local primary schools. The school provides a well ordered and happy atmosphere within the school so that its students can concentrate on learning, on doing their best and on making a successful contribution to life of the school.
