Background:
St John Fisher is a one-form entry primary school catering for children in the four to 11 ranges. St John Fisher was built in 1965, is a single-storey building with easy access. The outdoors facilities consist of a large playing field, a foundation Stage/Key Stage 1 playground and a Key Stage 2 playground. The school has a large assembly hall that is used for worship, physical education and music. A separate dining room extends from the school entrance and library. The children are offered a variety of extra-curricular activities including: music, computers, art, netball, football, kwik cricket, athletics and French. The school is proud of its sporting success and recognises the dedication of staff and the support of the parents.
