Background:
Woodlands School is a Hertfordshire County, mixed ability, co-educational, day primary school for children 3 to eleven years. From September 1994 Woodlands has operated a part-time Nursery Class. The school has seven classrooms, a dining hall including a food technology area, a special needs area and computer room, hall, library, kitchen, two play grounds, a separate play area for the nursery, and large playing fields including a developing conservation area. There are many extra-curricular activities, including musical instrument tuition, drama club, and art clubs. The school curriculum is broad and balanced at each Key Stage and includes enrichment activities such as interactive science, design and technology workshops, visiting artists, theatre groups, interesting school trips and guest speakers from the local community. The school became a Healthy School award in September 2002 and accredited with the healthy school logo. The Woodlands is an inclusive school aiming to discover and nurture each child's potential in a happy and stimulating atmosphere. I couldn't find the information for the special needs educational column.RegardsRuchi.
